demonstrates how he airbrushes and pinstripes a skateboard, currently one of the
hottest surfaces to paint on. According to Wes, skateboards are fun to paint because
of their shape, curves, and bevels.

properly. “With each new hire comes a different understanding of how an airbrush
works,” explains Lind. “One sure-fire way for me to really gauge an artist’s experience
is to ask them to perform just a simple blend. If they look at me right away with a
“What the…?” look, I’ll just tell them to stop right there and back away from the
equipment slowly.”
