Readme ------ Real7ime Converter (R7C) is a converter of any RealPlayer streaming medias (video and sound) to AVI/WAV/MP3 format. It is a realtime converter because it does not manage Real Time Streaming Protocol(tm) (RTSP) directly so the needed time to convert a media will be greater or equal to the time of the media. Features: --------- * A cool user friendly GUI * A preview using DirectX 8.1 or later (no preview sound definitively because R7C is not a player) * A MP3 encoder * The last but not the least, a URL Fetcher which can get all, YES! ALL direct link to any played video of RealPlayer on the web! Enjoy. ;) Requirements ------------ - RealPlayer(tm) installed (RealPlayer Basic(tm) or RealOne Player(tm)) Recommended ----------- - 256 MB at least - A fast PC and connection to get the best result - DirectX 8.1 or later for fast preview - 'Nimo Codec Pack' for all needed codecs. I advise you to choose its default installation else you could have a lot of problems Installation ------------ - Nothing to install, unzip all in a same directory and run the exe How to use it ------------- 1 - Close all useless windows and run R7C 2 - Select the type of media you want to convert (Image+Sound, Image only or Sound only) in Options 3 - Enter the URL and push 'Go' * The URL type can be file://, http:// or rtsp:// * You can also drag&drop a .rm/.ram file on the window 4 - That's all! Options ------- - Preview - This will show you the current converted images. It will not play the sound because R7C is not a player - Convert - This allows you to select the output format of the conversion: - Image+Sound -> .AVI - Image only -> .AVI - Sound only (WAV) -> .WAV - Sound only (MP3) -> .MP3 - Synch Error - This number represents the time error in milliseconds allowed to synch the image and the sound during the conversion * The less this value is, the more the synch is but you will get a less fluid AVI result.
