ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The College Success Bootcamp is the first comprehensive college readiness
and success seminar open to students nationwide.
We teach incoming and current college students how to succeed in school emotionally, socially, academically, and
financially. By merging education, empowerment, and entertainment into four fun life-changing days at Walt Disney
World® Resort, we are reinventing the way students are prepared for (and developed throughout) their college careers.
We are the first program in the country to offer our participants free continuing education and support throughout their
entire college career. We are also the first seminar in history to guarantee our attendees will go on to graduate college, or
we’ll reimburse their tuition the event. Our program also features separate full-day events for parents and educators.
Student attendees at The College Success Bootcamp learn these must-know strategies for succeeding in college:
How to navigate the financial aid system , win scholarships, find great internships, and manage their
finances so that they don’t have to drown in debt during and after school
How to increase their memory and reading speed, lower stress and anxiety, manage time, ace exams, and
earn that coveted 4.0 GPA
How to master their emotions so that they can handle problems, avoid unhealthy relationships, summon
courage, live to their values, and consistently feel positive, engaged and fulfilled
How to build life-long friendships, gain the support of professors, respect diversity, create an empowering
network of peers , and find the love of their lives without masking who they are
How to train their physical body and maintain a healthy diet so that they can have the unlimited amounts of
energy needed to manage their schoolwork, their job, and their social life

Our seminar curriculum is built on what we call “The 4 Pillars to College Success,” which are a student’s ability to handle
the emotional, social, academic and financial demands of higher education. Appropriately, each of the four days is
focused on a deep dive into each of these areas. Once our participants have attended our life-changing seminar, we keep
in contact with them. In fact, we provide them with so much continuing education and support that we feel comfortable
guaranteeing that they will graduate from college within six years or less, or we will reimburse their tuition to the seminar.
Participants receive monthly newsletters and MP3s discussing the latest, most relevant tips, tools and techniques for
succeeding throughout their college career. Alumni are also provided with a 24-hour response email and telephone
“helpline,” a peer mentor and one year’s worth of free life coaching. Below is a high-level agenda of our event.

how we involve parents and educators
We’ve partnered with College Parents of America, the only college parent advocacy
and educational organization in existence, to provide parents with a full-day concurrent
seminar on how to help their students succeed in (and pay for) college. We’ve also
created another concurrent seminar for educators on the topic of student development.

COLLEGE SUCCESS BOOTCAMP

Not only are we the first program in history to
comprehensively teach students how to succeed in
college, we’re also the first to teach their parents how to
comprehensively support their children throughout
college. During a concurrent day-long seminar, our
facilitators and partners at College Parents of America
teach parents:
How to finance college and plan for the long-term
How to help their students study better, prepare for
exams, and cope with stress
How to mentor and motivate their students to live
their values in today’s collegiate social environment
How to create closer relationships with their
children – even when far away from home
How to ensure their children stay safe, healthy and
– gasp! – employed during and after college
Parent and Educator Days are both held concurrently
with our student seminar on Day 3, Saturday

We haven’t forgotten the 11,000 student affair
professionals from over 1,200 schools who are currently
helping develop our nation’s next generations of leaders.
So, we’ve created another full-day, concurrent seminar
dedicated solely to providing educators networking
opportunities and cutting-edge insights and research in
the areas of student retention, orientation and
development. Educators learn:
How to better involve their students’ parents in the
educational and financial process
How effective community outreach really works
How to partner with other nonprofits and
corporations to increase funding for events
How to fund, build, manage and communicate
programs that help students stay – and succeed in –
college and their early careers
